The suspects allegedly used counterfeit American Express, MasterCard and Visa credit cards to buy items from department stores using counterfeit California driver's licenses, Sailor said.The suspects returned the purchased goods to the stores for cash back or sold them on eBay. Authorities estimate losses to currently be in the hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Fortunately, the police in Orange County, California have arrested people who were involved in this theft ring.
